post hastings book signing

In my opinion, I think that the Hastings book signing was a big success. a handful of people I knew showed up and I sold six copies of my books ^_^ The biggest surprise was how fast those two hours flew by. Then again, I was constantly talking with somebody about something. Anya showed up and hung with Dana and I the whole time and there was only what felt like a moment in between people coming and going at my table.

more good news, Anya has offered to help me spread the word about my books and I'm looking into getting my stories turned into audio books. Once I find a suitable microphone for my computer and get info on making podcasts, I'll have books available on CD and the indivual chapters out on podcasts.

Another thing I'd like to do with audio is make some teaser trailers for my books and get them up onto YouTube.

Hastings Book Signing

I’m finally going to have my first Hastings book signing and I’m really excited about it, I hope a lot of people show up and discover my books ^_^

When: Saturday, August 20th
Time: 4pm - 6pm
Where: 3700 W Main St Norman, OK

I’ll be signing the two books I have on commission with the store, ‘Rose Petals and Ash’ and ‘Lady Cy’. I’ll also have free book marks to hand out as well as promo posters for all three of my books. My sister will be sitting with me at the table (as always ^_^) and we’ll both be dressed up in school uniforms from my next book ‘Angel W’ to help promote it.

My First Conventions Ads

In the past, I have tried to advertise my books by getting promo cards or bookmarks into swag bags or put out freebie tables. But this year I have managed to get ads in a couple prgoram books at two different conventions!

The first is going to be in ConBust's program book, which runs on March 25, 26 and 27 in Northampton, Massachusetts!

The second is going to be in No Brand Con's program book, which runs on April 15, 16 and 17 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin!

Unfortunately, I won't be able to make either of these cons but I hope to see the program books one day in the future and sign them for the lucky owners *le sigh*
